I’ll start this review with a little story. I have a 15 inch MacBook Pro. Which is a good size but for me isn’t big enough to do video editing, movie watching. So a few years ago I bought a 27 inch monitor. Since I bought it, the monitor has been sitting on a few books to make higher. A cinematography guide, a Guinness World Records book and 2 books about sharks. They have served me well. But when I was planning on upgrading my desk, I started looking for a monitor stand. There are a lot of cool stands, but I didn’t see any I really liked. About a month later when the iMac Pro shipped, I finally found one. The Twelve South, HighRise Pro for iMac and Displays.

Every home, store, public area, … let’s say “place” has wi-fi. We all know the experience of a slow internet connection, waiting for that webpage to load. A YouTube video that will only play in 360p and if you change it you can play it for 10 seconds before it starts buffering again. And these are only examples of slow internet speeds. Most homes have dead spots (no wi-fi connection at all) and the solutions for a solid wireless connection can give other problems. (such as sticky clients, …)
Linksys promises to undead the dead spots and give you the most reliable mesh network on the market. Do they?
I really wanted to get familiar with the new iPhone before I started to write a review. By the time this will be posted it will probably be about a month. I was lucky enough to get my iPhone X the day of the launch. The only reason for that was because I got up extremely early pre order morning and was one of the first to order one. Getting my iPhone on launch day is actually something that I never had before, this was my very first time! Usually I got it 2-3 weeks after but now I was one of the first. What did I buy? I bought the iPhone X in Space Gray (Also really like the Silver but everyone has the silver… 😉) with 256GB’s of storage. My previous iPhone was a 128 model that had 29GB’s free so I couldn’t buy the 64GB model. So, a 256. Which costs, in Belgium: 1329 euro’s. (That is 1.538,37 US dollars 😳) Yes, that hurts. But, I was already prepared since the rumours of a high price had been floating around for about 1 month before the Keynote. I am going to break down this review in a few sections. First let’s talk about the thing you’ll notice first, the OLED, Super Retina Display. Continue Reading

It was back in November 2016 that Apple announced a special product. One that no one really expected. A book. This new book covers products from 1998’s iMac to 2015’s Apple Pencil, and also documents the materials and techniques used by Apple’s design team over two decades of innovation. In this post, I just wanted to show you what it looks and feels like, since in Apple fashion, it is on the expensive side of things and most people will not want to spend this much on a book. It starts at $199 (US) in small (10.20” x 12.75”) and goes up to $299 (US) in large (13” x 16.25”) format . I bought myself the small one, and believe me, the small one is still pretty big and heavy 😉 Let’s dive right in! Continue Reading
Bose has had a lot of cool products lately, the newest addition to their family is the Bose Revolve and Revolve+. A cool, ‘thermos’ shaped speaker. The main difference between the smaller Revolve and the bigger Revolve+ model is the lack of a handle and a little bit less bass on the smaller one. But the overall design and feel of these brothers is the same. Continue Reading
I first heard the name ‘AirPods’ in 2015. At that time there was a rumour stating that Apple was working on wireless headphones and that they would be naming them AirPods. Finally in September 2016 this rumour was confirmed. After they announced the newest feature on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus called: ‘COURAGE’… Which […]
