The future of Apple products through our eyes 🍏

We all know the tension before the start of a new Apple event. All sorts of questions go through our heads. Prior to the event, you have a series of leaks (which won’t be posted here, “no spoilers” policy) and wishes.

“What products would we like to see in the future from Apple?”, is the question we will answer today.

REVIEW: Linksys Velop Whole Home Wifi 🍏

Every home, store, public area, … let’s say “place” has wi-fi. We all know the experience of a slow internet connection, waiting for that webpage to load. A YouTube video that will only play in 360p and if you change it you can play it for 10 seconds before it starts buffering again. And these are only examples of slow internet speeds. Most homes have dead spots (no wi-fi connection at all) and the solutions for a solid wireless connection can give other problems. (such as sticky clients, …)

Linksys promises to undead the dead spots and give you the most reliable mesh network on the market. Do they?

The Apple Ecosystem

Apple makes fantastic products, but everything around it makes the whole experience even more immersive. You don’t just “use” Apple products, you live with them. There is a difference between having one Apple product and using the Apple ecosystem. Continue Reading

Apple reports sales Q1 2018

“We’re thrilled to report the biggest quarter in Apple’s history, with broad-based growth that included the highest revenue ever from a new iPhone lineup. iPhone X surpassed our expectations and has been our top-selling iPhone every week since it shipped in November,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “We’ve also achieved a significant milestone with our […]

HomePod showdown

If you want to know more about the HomePod and how it compares to a few hot smart speakers, I really really recommend ready this article. More from this writer: SERENITY CALDWELL

Airplay 2? Stereo HomePods? 🍏

Just yesterday, Apple finally gave us a date for it’s HomePod smart speaker. Releasing a lot of extra info that we didn’t get last summer when the HomePod was first introduced. Personally, I am really interested in the HomePod. I only have one smart speaker right now, a SONOS PlayBase. I only use it for music 1% of the time. And while it sounds great, I bought it for my TV, not to listen music with it. I would love a HomePod on my desk. Maybe one in my bathroom/bedroom as well. I’ll see what one can do first. Mac Pro and new Apple display coming soon?

Mac Pro 2?

As most of you know, Apple released the iMac Pro last week. The most powerful Mac, ever. This iMac is great for most of the professional users out there. They get more than enough power and the best in class 5K Retina display. But for some pro’s, the lack of upgradability in this iMac Pro just doesn’t seem right. Although, they don’t have to worry! Apple has them covered. Just not right now… Continue Reading

Welcome back, little Mac!

Today my Mac returned home safely. I got a new display and right IO board. Let’s hope this fixes my issues! I’ll keep you guys posted! And of course you guys can expect the iPhone X review soon!

MacBook Pro with Touch Bar problems

I just wanted to share a little inside information. My Mac is currently getting some fixing. I own a MacBook Pro with Touch bar from 2016. I recently started to see some spots in my display. I’ve also had some graphic glitches for a while. Where my screen would turn completely red. When this happened, […]

My Original 2015 Apple Watch in 2017🍏

Watch Series 3.

Apple released the best and fastest Watch this year. The Watch Series 3. They’ve added a feature this year that they wanted to add since the beginning. Cellular. So now you can use your Watch all the time, even when your iPhone is not around. You can easily distinguish the Series 3 because, as you might have noticed, it has a red dot on the digital crown. But if you look closer you’ll also notice it is about 1,5mm thicker. Which is huge. A huge engineering accomplishment for building in all the cellular features and a faster processor, without actually making it a lot bigger. Apple started selling much more Watches since the Series 2 but the Series 3 has taken that number up even more. Continue Reading

HomePod delayed!

Apple today released a statement that they would be delaying the HomePod to early 2018. So we will probably not see a HomePod until January. I was really planning on buying one in December as a gift for myself but I’ll have to scratch that idea now… Dang! This is what Apple had to say […]

Apple Event late October?

Today I read somewhere that Apple might do another Event this year. A late October Event like they did last year when they introduced the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Now, why would Apple do this? To me it feels like there has to be more news about the HomePod and the iMac Pro. Will […]

My iPhone 7+ is up for sale

I am really excited for the next iPhone. Like, really really. So really that I am already searching a new owner for my one year old iPhone 7 Plus. I can probably hold off on an iMac Pro or a new MacBook or iPad but I can not wait to get a new iPhone. I […]

Apple discontinues iPod nano and shuffle

Apple has removed the iPod nano and shuffle from their website and has announced that they will be discontinued… ☹️ Sad to see a once so popular product go. The iPod touch will continue to be available in 32 and 128GB.
